About the Author

Charles (Chuck) N. Marrelli has 35 years of marketing, sales, and writing experience, three years of military service, and a BA in English at Loyola U. He started at H. J. Heinz Co. and won Salesman of the Year. He moved to O-Cedar, Div. of Martin Marietta, survived three acquisitions, and rose through the ranks to National Sales Manager at Drackett Products Co., Cincinnati, OH. Bristol-Myers acquired his company, promoted Chuck to Brand Manager, then to Brand Supervisor. He wrote and executed marketing plans, supervised research, product development, budgeting, advertising, and package design. He worked with A.C. Nielsen, Battelle Memorial Institute, Knapp Design Associates, and Young & Rubicam. He wrote advertising copy, product manuals, sales manuals, and sales presentations. Chuck moved to Darien, CT as Senior VP of a Military Sales Co. that sold consumer products to military commissaries and exchanges worldwide. Two years later, he returned to Los Angeles, CA to form his own company, C M MARKETING SERVICES, which operated as a sales agent, and marketing consultant. After 12 successful years, Chuck retired with references that testify to high standards of performance.
